About us

The Shell Shop opened in Morecambe in 1965, and in 2012 celebrates its forty seventh birthday.

We stock a wide range of shells from pocket money purchases to collectors' specimens; handmade, silver and shell jewellery, and presents for everyone, from boat models to tiny fishermen ornaments, from pirate eye patches to mermaid’s purses, beach hut money boxes, bone china mugs and a range of Emma Ball products.

We also enjoy hosting educational visits for groups from nursery age upwards, Brownie/Cub packs, and assisting individuals with research and materials for A level/university projects.
